1. About the app
This policy describes the handling of information in the Elorium mobile app, published by developer Maksim Mashchenko.
2. Information within Elorium
Elorium lets users save information about ant colonies, journal entries, photos, reminders, and settings. This information is stored locally on the user’s device. The app does not create a user account and does not transmit colony, journal, photo, or reminder content to the developer’s server.
3. Photos and files
Photos are added only when the user chooses them through the system file picker. Elorium receives access only to selected images and stores copies in the app’s local data.
A backup is created only when the user requests it. Its destination is selected through the device’s system interface. The developer does not receive or store backup files.
4. Notifications
Elorium may request permission for local notifications about scheduled colony care. Their content and schedule are processed on the device and are not received by the developer.
5. Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Elorium contains no advertising, uses no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not track users across apps or websites. The developer does not automatically receive device identifiers, precise location, contacts, photos, or colony information.
6. Support messages
The support form prepares a message on the device and opens a system app chosen by the user. Nothing is sent automatically.
If a user voluntarily sends a request, the developer may receive the sender’s email address, message, selected technical information, and attachment. This information is used only to respond and resolve the reported issue and is kept no longer than reasonably necessary for that purpose. The user may request deletion of the correspondence.
7. Managing and deleting information
Users can edit and delete records in Elorium. Deleting the app removes its local data from the device according to operating-system behavior.
Backup files saved elsewhere must be deleted by the user from the chosen storage location. The developer cannot recover or delete information that remains only on the user’s device.
8. Platform services and third-party apps
Downloading and using the app may involve information processing by the app-store operator under its terms and privacy policy. Email and other apps selected to send a support request or backup operate under their own policies.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when app functionality or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
